Huffle the grey Quaker parrot, poe the white & blue budgie, 2 breeding cockatiels
2 conures.
Poe my male baby budgie (new-ish). Ever since he came home he has bin a picky eater and has only eaten seeds apart from some lettuce and cucumber. But lately as I rarely see him eat his veggies I decided I wanted to introduce some new healthy things that he could consider a favourite. So lately his molts have always bin rough molts which makes sense as he doesn't bath or eat any eggs. Today I decided I should try a boiled quail egg straight from our quails as we do not have any chicken eggs at this time. So far he has nibbled little bit and a little bit more and even given it a little peck but I'm a little impressed since he has only had it for 5-10 minutes.

But What should I try next?
Quaker tried some and took it straight from my hand and loved it! 😂
Edit: Poe ate all of it last night I think he prefers for it to be hand fed to him as well.

Good for Poe! My budgies love hard boiled eggs. When I’m trying to add extra protein, my super picky Quaker parrot will eat chickpea pasta ( especially the spiral- shaped rotini) and quinoa. Might be worth a try for Poe 🙂.
