This is Blue. He was adopted from a shelter. He’s about 22 years old. I’m his 4th owner. His very first owner put him in a basement (dark) hoping it would make him quiet. Which doesn’t work… so it lead up to the owner hitting Blue with a broom when he screamed, and he ended up breaking his wing. He’s actually a very sweet bird. I was provided the very last owners email. She wanted to keep in contact with Blue. I plan on emailing her to find out more about his past. It sounds like she is going through a divorce. She had 4 Ekkie’s, and Blue. She couldn’t take them all with her as she was moving. So Blue went a shelter, along with one of the Ekkie’s. Now he’s with me.

Now he’s with me.

And he couldn't be in better hands. I'm so sorry for everything he went through, that's so heartbreaking, but I'm happy for him because he's in the best place now that he could possibly be
