Totally new to everytink!!!

Hi as my thread said im totally new to birds. I currently have an untame green IRN name Midori. Sold to me by my brother who bought it on impulse. He was gonna sold it bck to the pet shop so I took ovr since I cant bare to let such a cutie go bck to that **** hole. So now Im tryin to tame this bird which seems to be caught wild or is an aviary bird. He doesnt know step up or anytink. Gt it for a mth now and still no progress. I needed help and surf the net which brought me here hahaha lookin forward to everybody's advice and stories w their cuties!!!

Thx for all the warm welcome!! he is bout 7 mth to 1 yr. tats wat the bird shop owner said. I know he is a he even though his ring has nt appeared yet cos he has some tint of pink along his neck. He is curious bout other IRN video and treats but totally afraid of hand. I tried power pause technique and manage to touch his head but a few days ltr, he suddenly gt totally foreign and does nt allow me to touch him at all. I try to spend as much time as possible w him but sumtimes its reali hard since i am still studyin and currently jus took up a job to provide for his needs...

My dad has decided to trade him in for a new baby hybrid cockatiel.....I cant change his mind. Guess Midori's gone....thnks for every advice and comments given..
