The Rickeybird Scrapbook, 1984 - Updates

I'm a bona-fide CAG smuggler. There are times I don't feel like driving and/or using carrier. So Nameliss rides under my coat, in pocket and once in umbrella as I used mass transit to take her to vet. The only problem I have had is when she mimics things.
I imagine Nameliss yelling STICK EM UP; THIS IS A ROBBERY! Or who knows what?!?!?!

I can see Rb deciding to shortening those names to avoid confusion. The BB's!

Her favorite is in a gruff deep craggy male voice...what cha doing huh! It sounds like a cop, crook or detective in B/W films. I stand there looking innocent hoping it can't be tracked to me!
Yeah!
Okay, here's a trip. My long-distance adopted child Xander (living with Mod Terry57, Bird Sanctuary Saint) is a character. Terry sent me some material and I used one as my phone ringtone. I LOVELOVELOVE having it ring in public... Xander's other-worldly "HELLOOOOOO!"s stream out, prompting all manner of reactions from the citizenry!

Where did you find this? There was a British rock band in the 70s I think called Budgie. Their album artwork Incuded a tough looking budgie in clothing. They had a culture following for a long time.

Have you ever seen the YouTube videos of Disco the talking budgie? He says (Said. He since died) all sorts of stuff like Nixon's "I am not a crook" in his raspy computer robot sounding voice. Hilarious!

I went to site to look at Disco. Unfortunately I had to close tab. Something grey went into stage 1 dislike mode. That's a simple but deadly glare with slight feather fluff. I wonder if a bird can tell the difference between a bird and human speaking!

I guess you have to wait until after his bedtime!
