Hey all. I don't know what to do here, my IRN was sitting on top of the fridge when l shut the fridge door, l didn't see her because she was flying around before l shut it. She yelled in pain, l think her nail just got caught between the rubber on the fridge. I had a look at her feet and there is no visible injurys, from the looks of it she is walking fine now. What should l do?

Ouch! She's probably fine if she's walking on it and there's no visible injury. Obviously it hurt when it happened, just like it hurts when we stub our toes or get our fingers caught in a drawer when shutting it, but only for a few minutes.
You're both lucky this time. One of the most common causes of pet birds' injuries or death is being slammed in a door either from sitting on the top of the door when it's shut quickly or trying to follow their human out of the room.

Of course if you do see signs that her foot is injured (lameness, swelling, deformed toes) bring her to an avian vet for treatment.

I'm glad you're posting.

In my opinion, any of the vets listed here should be better than a regular vet.
International contacts, too.
If none are near you, maybe you could call and ask for a recommendation for somebody in your area.
And... sometimes, distant vets will offer brief thoughts or advice...
Or... sometimes I find a place to start just by Googling "avian veterinarian near ((your location))"
Or maybe a local breeder might help... again, maybe Google?
