Tatttoos?

WEll , I couldnt care less what the heck my tattoos look like when I get "older"
And , they arent a reminder of a temporary feeling.
I got my horse on my shoulder because i had her over half my life at the time she had to be put down....I will never forget her and never , never , regret my tat.

I couldnt care less what people think about them either...
My choice , my body .
I didn't get my tats when I was drunk or whatever , it was a well thought out decision and I had the girl who did my tat do draw my horse's eyes over and over again until she got it perfect.
I have the picture of what she put on my back and it is a moment caught in time.
I had always called her my other half and my heartbeat.
Now it is with me forever , I wish she was still here though.

I'm with you. I don't care what people think about my tattoos. I didn't get them to satisfy anyone else. Antionette I think your tattoos sound awesome. Almost all of mine my husband drew and and as said before they have senimental value. People can't be judged because of their tattoos.

Love all your stories about why you got tattooed......

I too was a late bloomer LoL
Had my 3 done when I turned 40 and older
One on my lower back "Bad Girls" even though I am good girl LoL
A dolphin near my groin (pact when friends bought a holiday house)
AND a Duracell Battery on my butt.... my nickname because I am hyperactive and can't sit still for one sec (so in other words I am always FULLY CHARGED) hehe

Unfortunately Mishka is the only one here, and he is unable to take pic's :(

Antoinette, how about the Energizer Bunny? LOL. Just an idea after reading about the Duracell ;)

Duracell is sufficient enough..... can you imagine an Energizer Bunny as well.............I would be overloaded

I agree semi, but kinda not with the Jimmy Buffet line. Alot of people d get them done young, or back in the day drunk, or just as a fun stupid thing to do with friends, and friends change, things we did when were young are sometimes dumb and of course drunk, well that's another story lol, but others get it in memorial of people they love and/or lost who are like family- pets, actually family, life long friends, and others get them of who they are, what describes them and that though can change over time, but it is still a fun memory to think- gosh I was that wild lol!?

Sure, I know people that have very sentimental tattoos and don't ever question a person's reason for having a tattoo. Years ago it was mainly from military service and virtually never seen on a woman. Now, it seems if you don't have a tattoo you are a minority, man or woman.

But, I've also seen the friend that had a girlfriends name tattooed on his forearm with hearts and flowers at age 18 cry in regret not 2 years later. That is the permanent reminder of a temporary feeling I think the song talks about.

And then some are just::p
