ARRRRRRRRRG! Neighbor issues

A bit of a cheeky advice: I had my neighbours complaining about the two concures during daytime. Told them that I would consult a vet and a behaviour specialist to see what can be done. They felt that this was really good and helpful. The next time we met I confirmed the consultations (which I had NOT done) and said that both the vet and the behaviour expert said that I should not react to their screams (evn if it lasts for 10 minutes), as they would only learn that screaming and me reacting means for the birbs I get what I want. They perfectly understood that. Next time we met they said that things have really imporved - of course nothing had changed but they felt that their complaints had an impact

If someone in another apartment can hear snoring there must be some very thin walls! Cheap construction most likely.
I've lived in my share of apartments and condos and dealing with neighbors is such a drag. I must say that personally, I'm pretty intolerant of other peoples noise. My own noise, of course, is okay, but I finally have a single family home. Unfortunately not everyone can afford a single family home and it's getting harder and harder.

The apartment has cement walls, but some days it feels paper-thin. I also have my windows open a lot of the time (Hot flashes... weeee...), and so do my neighbors. I've been at my place for 1.5 years, and once in a while, this neighbor goes off on me. However this is the worst it's been with her. I also snore like a banchee, LOL!

I'm usually tolerant of other neighbors, whether screaming kids or dogs yapping. When they start threatening to report me, that's when I draw the line, especially over stupid things.
