Thankyou another great post
My parakette is still young and I got her Christmas Eve.
Just wondering how do you get them used to you to hand feeding?
She is fine when I go into her cage to change her water, food giver her treats and change the gravel paper I put down to make it easy to clean up when she makes a mess.
She never tries to get out of her cage but stays away from me when I have my hand on the cage.
I do talk to her when I walk past and when I’m finished cleaning up her cage I tell her it’s fine all done, I also attempt to whistle but not great.
I’ve been told I could teach her to sit on my shoulder but I’m a bit worried about her flying around and I wouldn’t know how to teach her
