Well just wanted to let everyone know that my 2 CAG are now on pellets and a wonderful veggie and fruit mix. It took a couple of weeks but they have been seed free now for almost a month. I am happy to know they are now on a better diet and on their way to a healthier life. Thanks to all for your much appreciated advice. I am so glad to have such wonderful friends on here. Again thanks! Critterman :grey::grey:

How did you go about it? I am doing the same with my CAG and he is NOT going for it. I'm affraid he won't get enough to eat. I've been sprinkling seed in with it just to get him interested, but it's not working. I've tried just the pellets, but he won't eat them.... Stressful!!

Hi,
I just joined and saw your post. Just adopted a grey 2 weeks ago and I would like to get her on pellets. Please let me know how you did it. Thanks in advance, Scott

You guys have probably tried this before, but Puck is often cautious about foods he doesn't recognize unless I take bites first.

nut is finally eating her pellets :) and what remy said works, but make all the yummy sounds and smiles, because they do pick up facial expressions

reason nut is eating her pellets is because there is nothing else on offer during the day, so once she's eaten all her fresh, its pellets or go hungry till supper, but it took awhile, as she mainly threw them out at the beginning, she's on zu preem fruit blend now, she was on harrisons, she also has nutri berries, zu preem cookies (but i need to soak them, as there too hard!)
