Yes, but I was at work, and every time I've called her back she hasn't been available...she gave me her cell phone number as well, but I don't feel right calling it. Another problem is that I have no means of transporting Iggy's cage to NH, but I want him to have it. I guess I'll just have to keep trying to call her and see if one day she's available. My other option at this point is a neighbor that my boss has, who has parrots and a sunroom for them, and apparently a lot of time to spend with them (my boss is on vaca till Tuesday though)...so we'll see and I'll keep all of you updated.
I also agree with you not giving Iggy to these new people, they didn't seem reliable...
I'm sorry that he is still screaming today....
Have you tried putting him in all rooms of your house?I mean if you change him room when he screams he still goes on?
I think I should send Phoebus over to teach him some good manners...
Or Phoebus will get some bad ones...
And then you can keep them both....
Oh, and breed them as well.....:18::18:
p.s.Sorry for the joke, I totally feel what you are going through and how a screaming bird can drive you nuts...
Yes, he screams anywhere and everywhere, except outside or in the car...and I can't spend all my time outdoors! Yesterday we were outside for a couple of hours, and he was very good. I think he's really been wanting to vacation in Greece though, maybe he wouldn't scream in a different country/continent And then YOU can have all the babies! Lucky lucky!
Right now I'm trying to avoid the rescue route, because I think he'll be an easy bird to rehome, if I find bird people...really, he's a typical Amazon, and anyone who understands Amazons shouldn't have a problem with him. But if worse comes to worse, I may have to go through a shelter I suppose, just not yet.
