Actually it was my fault:(. It was Sassy's turn out and since we have Peanut she has been more interested in being in the living room with me (closer to Peanut). I used to cover Cisco's cage when I let Sassy out to avoid any mishaps but since Sassy hasn't been staying in that room anymore, (until last night), I haven't been covering his cage unless he is already going to sleep. So, you see where this is going, right:eek:. Last night, Sassy went to her kitchen cabinets like she used to, (that should have been my first clue!) and then went to Cisco's cage, and he kept going to her which meant his feet were like little targets for her. I ran out there and threw the cover over his cage to try to distract her and kept trying to get her to step up, which she did but then right back to the cage. I ended up getting her away from the cage and she went to the cabinet, and I immediately went and had her step up (thinking for sure I was going to get bit as she was in her crazy mode, but I did not care if she bit me at that point, and she did not bite), and put her away...and I ran back to Cisco. He is okay, but it scared me to death!!! Note to self...NEVER let your guard down!

I have a thick transparent piece of plastic on the top of the Coco's cage, so she wouldn't bother other birds on the top biting their feet. Maybe something like that would help? (but the top has to be flat) :)

Sassy seems kinda sassy lol....:)

Thank you for your suggestion. Cisco's cage is dome shaped though. I have just been covering when she is out and had no more Sassy incidents..lol.

It wasn't me, lol. What a stinker!

Having birds on the loose is like having a toddler in the house. Dang if birds don't stick their beaks in the darndest places. My cockatiels are pretty good about staying out of trouble but Louise and Barney the Amazons will nose out every dangerous device in the bird room.

I think they plot ways to make me jump.

"Pssssssst," Louise hisses to Barney. "Watch me stick my head in this folded garbage bag and make her think I'm suffocating."

Barney pins her pupils in agreement and says, "You do that and I'll turn on the water faucet."

Louise fans her tail in excitement. "No! No! Grab the cockatiel by the tail! That always gets her out of the chair."

Barney stands tall and fans her tail. "Oh yeah! I can do that. Then I'll stick my tongue in the wall socket! That really made her move last time!"

Louise bobs her head in excitement. "Yes! Yes!" She slides down the side of the cage. "Let's do it on three! One...two....."

Sensing a plot afoot, I peek around the newspaper, and of course I jump out of my chair.....
