How the hell do you get the video to show in the post??
Even Salty can't do it.

At the bottom of the youtube video there's an arrow that reads "Share". Just click that and use the URL it has there. should have a . in the word "youtube".

Salty and I thank you guys. Actually, he came up with the going through the hoop by himself. We were just doing the back and forth thing, and all of a sudden he picked the hoop up and put it over his head head, all on his own. This is one of 15+ tricks he knows.

For all the new owners and members, all it takes is 15 minutes a night, every night, to get your parrot to have this level of cooperation, fun, and eagerness to work with you. Find your parrots very favorite treat, be consistent and just go slowly and clearly show the bird what you want.

Al, I'm not sure why the video didn't show up with your code..I copied and pasted it in after clicking on the link and it worked:)

Now, about the amazing Salty! Such a smart boy, and he looks so proud of himself! That is one of the cutest things I have ever seen:)

I love Salty! He's so amazing and has always pushed me in training Nigel...or is Nigel training me? Who's watching the videos?

Holy Crap Al! I am at a loss here for words  That boy sure is a smart one! And you bud, deserve a lot of credit with it.

BRAVO SALTY!! In no time flat, he'll REALLY be able to due your taxes and fix the transmission Al! :D

That is not a real bird. It is a tiny person in a feather suit. Or maybe a little robot. You are busted, Al. You'll feel better if you come clean.

Yep, it's a little Salty robot. Remote controlled from behind the camera. Cost a fortune in batteries.

Nah, it's not. I just post these to show folks what's possible if you work with your parrot.

Way to Go Salty you and Al make a Great team and thats an amamazing trick Well Done Salty and Well Done Al...Wonderful Job :)

Wow! That's an amazing Amazon! How long have you been training him? Besides patience and consistency, what tools/tricks do you use? Great job!

He is just over a year old and I will have him just about 10 months. we started doing trick training in like January this year. Started with just getting him used to the idea of doing a trick for a treat. Turning circles was our first one, thats an easy one. Then rolling over, and then Picking up a small whiffle ball and putting it a cup, playing dead, shaking hands, and on, and on. He will sell his soul for a small slice of pine nut.

Al..I just showed Amy Salty's YouTube video..she was sitting on my shoulder, and when she heard you praising the little guy,she got all poofy and started mumbling in 'zon.
She watched intently the whole clip lol..I think she remembers the Saltmiester lol.

Mary good to hear from you and Biggles! We havent seen much of you on the Board lately. Every thing OK?

This is the first Salty video I've seen and now I understand why everyone is in love with him. I didn't know that Zons could be that small but that is probably the perfect size.
