I just noticed I can bookmark posts! I'll be coming back to this one a bunch, I suspect.

It's so neat to see Salty choosing to pass on some of these, that I've seen him do before. It's reflective of the intelligence of parrots and Salty in particular, IMO, to make decisions like that.

Yeah some nights he is like Gung Ho and literally runs to each trick, and some like this one, he is Nah, not that one. Gotta respect that. Its part of our relationship.

Have Clearly seen this with our many older Amazons over the decades. It is like as soon as they find they can choose, it opens an entire new level of the relationship.
