Rio the Sun Conure foot update

Thank you everyone for helping me. I posted and earlier thread about my little Rio's toe being bitten by his "lover" Kiwi ( I think they broke up and it got a little messy...) My Mom's flight was cancelled and she is now coming home tomorrow at Noon (Friday 12 pm) I worked out a deal with her to pay for the expense of my baby by Surrendering my High School graduation money and my 18th birthday money as Interest. I have stopped his bleeding and cleaned his wound. I called a local vet as he was kind enough to walk me through some steps until my mother came home and we could take Rio to him. The vet told us that the cost would be "ESTIMATED" at $150. I know estimated... means alot more. (Especiallly from vets) I will keep posting in this thread to keep everyone updated on Rio's recovery. That's good to hear. Had same issue a couple months back where my Grey bit the whole toe off my budgie. We have a complete first aid kit here as my wife was a former vet. The bird made a full recovery and is my handi capped baby now.
