We can understand you. :)

You are doing GREAT with Rio! Before you know it, he will be the biggest cuddle boy!

How sweet that he climbed on you all by himself. Maybe he didn't want to come over the second time you asked him to, but I'm sure we will see lots more progress with you and Rio. :D

thank youuuu

I'm glad he's warming up to you! Rio looks like he's settling in well with your family (I think I saw a photo the other day with him sitting with your wife right?), and you seem to be doing a great job with him. Patience is a virtue with parrots, they will come around in their own time.

I see you have children, so I bet he really enjoys having the kids around to watch. Large parrots and young children have quite a lot of common :) I always like seeing birds in family homes. I grew up with 3 parrots myself (my parents had them long before I was born). It was wonderful and taught me a lot of respect for animals. How old is Rio? I don't think I've seen you say.

Rico doesn't always want to step up for me either, but he does when he's ready.

I understand you as well :) no worries there!
