Quick help (GRAPHIC images enclosed)

angie_robyn: F10 is available from vetnpetdirect.com.au if that helps? I use the store all the time and keep a lot of their avian medical supplies on hand.

Thank you that's is very helpful! It's good to get a recommendation so I know they are reliable. I'm stocking up my birdy first aid kit so this will be handy.

Thank you for reporting this to the proper authorities! And I sincerely hope these birds are removed, examined by a vet and rehomed. How anyone can allow their animals to live in that kind of filth (or to have that kind of filth in their home too) is beyond me. I would have been paranoid to the extreme too if I had walked into this mess and had to go home around Kiwi. Awful, awful, awful:(

We dilute according to instructions into spray bottle with water, it is very concentrated. It will last yonks without going off when made up. We spay ourselves, clothes, hair and plum but avoid eyes. To clean a cage make a solution and wash in the usual way is probably easier. I also put a drop in my mop bucket as he goes down on the floor a bit. Hope this helps? :)

The game warden contacted me yesterday. They will have a meeting with a detective. Things are looking up at getting these animals rescued.

Awesome!! I am busy at work today and I logged in to check on them. Praying for these babies. Even for the owner....perhaps they are afflicted with a psychological problem? Because it sure isn't 'normal'.....

You are a much better person than I am because I just want to punch them in the face . This is over the line of someone not knowing what to do. You do not let any creature live like that !!

Thank you for helping them

Oh yeah I feel that way in one sense but then I shake my head and think "clearly these people can't be playing with a full deck!"
But in any case, they should NOT have pets in that house. That is an abusive situation.

100+ rabbits
100+ guinea pigs
50 birds

Tons of mess

I've been watching this thread, I just didn't have anything meaningful to say and it hurt to see the animals in such a terrible place.

It's such a relief to know that the animals have been removed and hopefully many will find good homes and have a real life from here on out.

Oh gosh! Then this poor thing 'was' a guinea pig. :(

I cried hen I saw these pictures.thank you Stephen for doing the right thing.

I can't even begin to understand this. Thank you so much for helping these animals. I really don't think I could have handled that with a cool head, thank God you did because it was far more effective in the long run. I'm so glad you went there even though it was hard for you. If you hadn't they might never have gotten out of there. Those majestic animals deserve a life so very different than that horror. Hopefully now they can have one with better people.

I am so happy, I can't wait to tell my son! Thank you so much!

I'm very happy they they got those poor animals out of their, but what will stop him from having more in the future?

In the US, if animals are being removed by law enforcement, the owner will be given a court date to 'visit' with a judge. Evidence will then be presented to this judge, and he/she in turn will decide whether this person is allowed to have animals.

I'm pretty certain charges were pressed against the person our Stephen talked about, especially since he was housing animals that are illegal to be kept, and animals he needed special permits for.

This is good news, but just out of curiosity, what animals did he have that were illegal or he needed permits for?

Our legislation is different here, so I'm curious.

Thanks Stephen for saving many little lives! You're a hero.
