Let clark help with the cage....they said.

She barely helped at all all she did was gripe that I did this wrong and that wrong.

But it's ready to go.

I'm thinking best to leave clark at home.

I'll take a shower and head out in a bit.

So anyways the new quaker rode the whole way home on my shoulder. Got a little nervous in the bedroom and only then tried to fly. I let him calm down in the new cage and took clark out to post the stuff above.

After a bit I re-introduced and put them in a neutral room with some papya healthy toppings and they both ate.

The Quaker is bigger than clark and tried to approach but I wouldn't let them get to close for now. Quarantine and safety. But they both know eachother exists and they were both calm.

After that I left the new bird back in it's cage to relax some more and eat. Clark is back downstairs with me. Clark is usually in bed by 5 to 5:30 so then I might bring the quaker down and have some time together. I assume it's on a regular sleep time frame. and stays up a little later.

she brought the bird to my car.....cause of the rona.....

She was fine but I don't think she's as experienced as I am. She was like he'll get bored and fly off sometimes, but he just sat on my shoulder like a good bird while I asked it questions about his day.

It's only tried to fly off once in the bedroom and the first time I brought it downstairs alone. Other than that he steps up fine and stays on me fine. He's more leary of clark it seems but that's ok especially since he's bigger.

What are you thinking for the name? When do you find out DNA?
Congratulations quaker daddy!

Also thanks Laurasea for all the help!!!!!!!!!

I was going to add to your reputation but it says I need to spread around more first.

Oh well, maybe someone else can hit the scale for me.

theres so few perches the cage came with, I'm going to go get more tomorrow, maybe some ladder etc.

Also, no one told me Quakers can hover.....when he did fly, this bird literally flies like a helicopter.

Lol to true!!! They can hover!! I didn't know that was rare in parrot world.
Amos sounds great. I've bern calling him McDreamy lol
