Dani..I just saw this thread today. Amy,BB,and I are praying real hard,that Buddy and Delta make a full recovery Reading the posts as they go a long..it sounds like they are on the right path.

I use only solid stainless steel for chains, hooks, quick-links...

Plastic, here we come!

Home Depot and Lowe carry heavy plastic chain. I use the cut links for hanging toys. In fact whenever I walk into these stores, I check the bins for discarded links.
