Thank you all so much for your continued well wishes - they mean the world to me.

I got 12 x-rays yesterday (I must be glowing) AND CT scans for my ribcage, shoulder, and hip. Both, my shoulder and hip have severe hematomas, and my right lung has a partial pneumothorax (collapse). I am on bed rest, pain killers and muscle relaxers.

I slept most of the day yesterday and all through last night.

This was a hard lesson learned - I guess I am (no longer) invincible. :32:

Glad there's nothing more serious there. How long will you be laid up for? Did they give you any idea? I know from experience that the haematomas will take ages to resolve, but hopefully they won't be sensitive for too long. You poor thing, hope you're back on your feet soonish.

At least they are all things that can heal, of course the pain must suck. I hope you recover quickly.

I am thinking back a few years to a bicycle accident I had and how much pain it felt like all of my body was in. UGH! But it sounds like, thank God, all things that will heal and be 100% in time. That muscle relaxer/pain killer combo is the best for this kind of thing!!! Better get some "netflixing" on your schedule........

I'm "supposed" to be on bed rest until next Friday, when I go back to have my lung re-checked. I was on Oxygen for over 2 hours and was given some steroid shot for the swelling. As for the hematomas, I'm taking Epsom Salt baths twice a day, and do alternating hot and cold compresses.

My Mark is home, so I'll be making him my own personal slave. He will be LONGING to go back to school by the time I'm done with him. :54:

Wow, a partial pneumothorax? That's bad, Wendy. You're very lucky. A full pneumo and you'd be in the hospital with a chest tube.

Take your time healing up. I can't imagine the pain you're in (I'll bet you have a high pain tolerance). This was so scary, especially after Tab's accident. Thank goodness you're okay! (((Hugs)))
