Thank you, Michael:) I think my Chazzie is going to be one spoiled little guy:) He has already learned that he can bark if I am not in the room so I can lift him back on the bed.

I'm glad Chaz is keeping on keeping on for you Terry! Please give him a pat from Aunty Trisha and let him know he's a Good Dog! :)

I'm glad he is doing well right now! I hope he beats the time he was given. I met a women on my trip to Europe who was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given a year left to live months before we met. She has been all over the world the last year and you never would have guessed there was anything wrong if she hadn't told you herself. Its been 9 months since my trip and she is still traveling around the world going strong:) I hope your little guy sticks it to his doc too!

That's a great way to look at it Terry. It's difficult to have a good attitude when things are worrying us or getting us down. You stay strong like that okay?:) Tessie's post was uplifting to hear too.

My best friend is also going through a struggle like this with her beloved cat - unfortunately he has lymphoma and he has regressed quite a lot. Her main focus, like yours, is to simply provide the best possible life ever, and to be honest I think that's the most amazing thing to do for him at this point (as I'm sure you always have been!).

Thank you for being the wonderful person you are and believing in giving him love and care for all of his days, and being the best fur and feather momma out there!

How is Chaz today?

I am so sorry for what is going on. Chaz though has every reason to fight for life seeing he is so loved. I will pray for comfort and healing

Chazzie is having another good day today - that is 2 in a row, and I am so happy about that:)
I wish I could tell you all what your support means to me..I know I keep saying that, but it is so true, and all of your posts have given me the strength to hope, and believe, and to cherish every day I have with him. You have shared your stories that give me hope, and touch my heart. I am a lucky woman indeed to have found this wonderful place, and all of you. That is why I am counting my blessings, instead of focusing on the negative.
I love you guys:)

Two days in a row, go Chaz!!!

You need to PM me your address, I'll send him a birthday package out so it is there before his birthday :) Give him hugs and kisses from his Aunty Jen... well all his parrot forum aunties, he seems to have a growing crowd of family members :)

Chaz is doing well still:) He is still doing some coughing, but is having no trouble breathing:)
He is also taking his meds like a champ!
Thank you for asking:)

My little pekingese, Church, is having some issues now, so I am sorry for the late reply:(
He was diagnosed Sat. with inverterbral disc disease and is also on meds. He also has to be carried up and down the stairs and we have to keep him kenneled until his disc goes back into place, which could take awhile:(
When it rains, it pours, it seems:(
So if you wouldn't mind adding Church to your prayers, I would so appreciate it:)

Oh, wow. You can't seem to catch a break, Terry. I'm so sorry.

I wanted to mention a wonderful website that helped me when one of my dogs went suddenly paralyzed. The members of this board helped me support my dog's needs. Three vets told me to euthanize him, but I felt it wasn't his time. Six weeks after becoming paralyzed he walked again, and he lived for another 7 years!

While I realize your baby doesn't fall into this category, the information available there for many types of maladies, including disc disease is invaluable. Their website is: http://www.handicappedpets.net

I owed my dog's life to the people from this forum. I'm confident that you will be able to find info that will help you support your baby's convalescing needs.
