Oh my....he is getting SO comfortable with you. And just as important you with him. It’s so nice to see!

Wow, thats really mellow! Salty, when he is the mood for rough housing is like a wiggleworm with a beak. Perry is obviously enjoying himself! Just watch out for the signs of Amazon Overload - body language is everything with them.

Ummm. I see something a little different in this video.
I could be mistaken. I am watching it from work and I got no sound but...
It looks to me like he is trying to maneuver your hand under his vent and start to um pleasure himself.
My Bingo like to do this on my hand if I give him half a chance and it's not a good thing to encourage it.

Thanks texsize I will watch out for this. He certainly seems to try and get down with my feet. I try to wear socks or shoes to avoid him going crazy. He sounds like a clucking chicken and with regurgitate to my toes.

Adorable and so comfortable with him...you pair are a great team...as some have mentioned bear in mind to watch out for the body language and the fact that he is now beginning to view you as his mate ...you have made great progress in a real short time and are building a Wonderful bond of trust.

My nephews came over to meet Perry. They had worked very hard with Timneh and love parrots now. Perry was amazing he whistled back and forth with them and had good time hooting and hollering with the young ones. There quite a big difference in Perry meeting people at my house. era is when I met Perry at my friends house. Maybe it’s because he hasn’t been here as long. He was very aggressive towards me when I first met him. Chomping my finger and trying to chomp my feet. My nephews are young guys but are getting some good parrot experience from Timneh and now Perry.

I think and am convinced after getting my boy that Parrots are influenced by the settings they find themselves in, and when they are not happy in a family or in a home setting, they do tend to show it, and they do have their preferences about people too.
My boy was deemed to be un homeable either in an Aviary which he had to be removed from after attacking all the other parrots there, or in a human family circle, cos thats where he was for the past 6 months and where he drew blood regularly, and even broke a finger...its like Dr Jeckel and Mr Hyde...same story as your boy ...we both seem to have struck it pretty lucky and your boy is even friendlier than mine ...its wonderful when this happens ...Enjoy these special moments for they are precious and they are moments you and Perry can build on for the future and also look back on and treasure :)

Absolutely agree! Sometimes it takes a special combination of fid and parront to work magic. They very much reflect back their environment, good or bad.
