The full name "Otto Von Ruthless" came from WWE wrestling show from late 90s, one wrestler when developing his persona for TV was given a list of names from how he described the character he wanted to portray on tv. Otto Von Ruthless was one of those names of many he rejected.

I love that Otto von ruthless is a GIRL BIRD! Hens are definitely the leaders of the flock. My flock leader is a female named Rocky Bal Birden. She's tame and wonderful but is one tough budgie and takes no nonsense from anyone.
I have a lutino hen, too. She's an English show bird. Her name is Elan (ee-LAN) because shes one big beautiful classy looking red-eyed ball of sunshine. Yes, she can see even though her eyes are hidden by her "blow"- that's what show bird breeders call the big, fluffy head feathers.

His cere is actually lying. I got the blood test done, he's 100% male. Dr ran a bunch of other tests and he's healthy, no vitamin deficiencies or other health issues atm.
I love lutino Budgies! Yours is beautiful!

It can be hard to sex Lutinos so not surprised Otto is a boy, other than male Lutinos are pretty rare. He sure is beautiful. Lutinos really stand out in a crowd of budgies even more than albinos.

You should change out the dowel rod perches for natural wood ones. They're better for their feet.

DonnaBudgie, Otto deserves solid gold perches and platinum playing toys. Natural wood perches pshaw... Should be diamonds in the perches to bring out his eyes and white spots contrasting with the golden perches.

Too bad Otto and Elan can't have babies. Then we can give everyone a baby Otto or Elan! But I hear that when you breed two Lutinos together their babies come out "challenged".
