New quaker!

Wade...Nacho is simply gorgeous!! Blue,of any shade,is my fav color anywho and Nacho is just..sooo..BLUE! lol

He looked like he wanted to go "fly" when he was on your leg...seemed very interested in his new surroundings too..maybe he was contemplating on how to get back to his house lol.

And the misting one,just standing on your arm..if that was BB he'd be running helter skelter here and there to get away ..He thinks he is gonna stay a stinky 'ol bird dude all his life,he has another thing coming

If I can be nosey here....what made you decide on a Quacker,and not another 'tiel? Is Nacho bigger/smaller/the same size as The Dusty Dude?

I also watched the vid that you have of Dusty in a box,looking into a mirror,and whistling the Addams Family..that was awesome lol...Now I have something new I can try and teach to BB.

NAcho is about as close as you can get to the same size. He's weighing in at about 88 grams every morning and Dusty was about 86. As much as we love Dusty and his unique birdsonality, my sweetie wanted a colorful bird that talks pretty well. I wanted a playful hand-on bird, and near as I can tell, the quaker is probably about the best fit you can get for all we wanted.

Nacho is still sort of coming around slowly. Mostly likes to hang out on his favorite perch but he will explore a bit with some encouragement. I'm sure he's still getting used to our place, he's only been here 5 days so far =)

Oh geez Wade..Nacho is a youngster..3 months old,thats awesome.
Whats his "birdsonality" like? Is he being vocal already with you guys?

Being such a young dude,I am going to assume he is quite handlable already.

I know most people here prolly think I am quite the whacko with all these nicknames I come up with for their fids.. Juliets "'Nut"..aka Coconut..Wades "Dusty Dude"..Al's "Saltmiester"...my "Beebs"..the "little beady-eyed monster" <jonesy> the list goes on and on lol..now I gotta think of something cute for Nacho..this will be challenging!
