- i currently own a rescue cockatiel but have owned quakers and caiques hopefully i will own a cockatoo or smaller macaw soon!
I just recently purchased a bonded pair of GCC both healthy they were surrendered to a adoption agency because the breeder couldn't get them to breed they are 8yrs old but we're on cheap walmart parrot food and in a small cage so we brought them home mix a diet of Kaytee Fiesta and Mazuri Small Bird Diet and gave them a cockatoos size cage and we're wondering if it was possible to breed them if maybe the owner just didn't do it right or what we could go about trying we just would like to raise a clutch or 2 and hand feed both have bird raising experience as far as hand feeding goes neither are tame
