My Merlin

Awhile ago, there was a post about not naming anymore birds Merlin, since that seemed to be overly popular

However, it did give me an idea.. and I think I may name my new horse Merlin, because.. HE LOOKS LIKE A WIZARD (Magical.) LOL

Anyways, for those who saw my last post about "cross your fingers horse people" here are some pictures of my almost 4 month old Appy Colt, who may or may not be named "Merlin."

Rolling River Blue is his registered name. The breeder shot these and gave them to me today, I love getting updates! Foaled March 11, 2012

Horses are probably one of the most expensive hobby's a person can have.. well, besides crack.

I can't wait till he comes home! He gets weaned next month, then in August he'll be transported from Kentucky to where I board at in Maryland.

He's beautiful.. I am so jealous first you have a B&G (hoping to get a call from a breeder about mine in a few months) and you also have this magical horse. I was looking at houses the other day so that we could have stables and a horse or two.. Lol..

Hehe, I've been debating how to trail ride with bird. <.< Unfortunatly we have a LOT of bald eagles here, so I don't think it'd be a wise decision..

But I wonder if I could attach a perch to my saddle somehow.

Just wanted to update on this

I have named him "Stryder"
Merlin didn't fit his personality. He is now almost 9 months old! and FAT.. soo fat.
