I'll listen to pretty much anything 'indie'/alternative/electronic/dance/etc. I'm fine with pop/hip-hop when I'm out with friends, but I don't really listen to it by myself. Just some favorites off the top of my head:

I have a little different take on the music Wendy. We all do things to keep our body and mind in shape with exercise and mental stimulation. Some people do crossword puzzles. God has never blessed me with the ability to play a musical instrument as such, but I can read and sing music. What I have is an ancient Commodore 64 computer that 26 years ago was a pretty good gaming computer. Inside of this computer is a sound synthesizer chip as good as any one in a $2,000 organ. It can be programmed to make the sound of anything that makes a sound. I have the software for it to make beautiful music in three part harmony that on the screen shows a double handed keyboard with the keys lighting as it plays. Words to the songs scroll up while it plays also. I have made approximately 120 songs to be played this way. If anyone still has a Commodore 64 computer with 1541 disk drive I will gladly send you a copy of my work to play on yours.

Here is another music twist you might enjoy. Yamaha makes this incredible synthesizer called the Tyros. Listen to this Dire Straits tune; The Sultans of Swing played on the Tyros 3 YouTube video [ame=http://youtu.be/YerYobfU4Hc]sultans of swing - dire straits on tyros 3 - YouTube[/ame]
