I'm having trouble finding a breeder.... If anyone knows a good breeder in MA or that will ship please let me know their website and/or email.
I have been trying to contact this breeder but I have not had any luck getting a reply back

... [http://www.exoticpetsplace.org/] Do they seem legit? I like that they feed the food that I want to use and their birds look extremely healthy compared to most I have seen.
If I can't find a good Scarlet breeder I am willing to get a Green Wing, though I really would like to get a Scarlet or two...
Thank you in advance for any help possible!

The best macaw breeder in the United States right now, in my opinion, is Wendy Craig. Google Wendy's Parrots.

She ships, and she breeds scarlet macaws.

Having said that, Scarlet's are the beakiest of the bunch, and I would recommend a Greenwing over a Scarlet. They are just as pretty, and way better temperments...

Just my advice.

Wendy's birds are UBER-SOCIALIZED. So, especially if you are getting one of the more difficult species, I'd go with her...

Yes.. a socialized bird is important.. I take a bird to the park every weekend for a few hours to meet the kids. The park rangers finally stopped giving me grief after we had an argument about birds not being allowed in the park. My response was, "So you're telling me in this whole park there are no birds?"

In Florida, it's not uncommon for flocks of parrots to be hanging out in the trees in the parks here.

Where in Ma are you? cape cod parrots had a young Scarlet, last time I was I there buying toys. they are located in Middleboro. the owner Breeds some of his own birds and also works with a few other breeders.

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you guys for all the suggestions! After a ton more research I have decided that a Green Wing would be better for me. I have heard lots of Wendy Craig and was wondering if I could get any personal experience or such of her? I want to make sure my first baby is as healthy and great of a bird as I can get, makes for better success between us I figure.

He has a couple of green wings in there. Think they are nearly a year old now. The two are clowns, but have down a number on there tail feathers playing.

There is a sweet female Green Wing for sale at Woof Meow in Derry, NH

I honestly think this is a wise choice.
