Hi rio my alex is excellent at flight. No banging in walls or windows at all. When he wants to perches he searches high places where he carries an almond or cashew to it. Is there any way I can install perches at a height without drilling any holes on the walls. I am attaching a few pics so you all can understand what he does at present. Sorry if I have asked something foolish

Can you have hanging perches from the ceiling?

It would be difficult to install anything without screwing it into the wall, because it might be sturdy enough and you don't want him to fall and get hurt.

Maybe something like this that can be put over a closed door like they have for towels or jackets.

MonicaMc , I plan to remove the ceiling fan as we dont use it. I am thinking a PVC perch but no idea how to hang it

When you take down the fan, there will be a bracket it hung from. Get an orb and hang it from the bracket! He will love it!

The other option is just build tall pvc stands... It wouldn't take much room, or cost much, and no drilling required. And you could do a couple of them, and place them strategically around the room...

Get something like a craggley grapewood branch, put a stainless steel eye bolt on the end, and hang it from the thing with either sissal rope, or a plastic (baby) c link.... And he has a natural wood swing to play on as well...

Thanks for your advice. I am going through each and every post in the Parrot Toys forum and now have a fair idea to build a PVC playgym. I have already begun work. As for a hanging perch I am really scared of drills so will be nagging dear husband to do it for me.
For now I have lots of gauva branches just placed at different angles in his cage and Rio enjoys climbing at all weird angles ,so guess he will love a playgym.
