I asked Syd if he would like to enter this month but he hid his head under his wing and said 'I'm sorry Baby' in such a plaintive little voice I hadn't the heart. He is having such a big moult he is covered in pin feathers everywhere and I know he doesn't feel great at the moment. Bless him!

Artistic background aside, ALL of this month's photos are stunning! Everyone here is bringing their A game. Still working on our entry ideas, but that's some serious competition out there.

If he would let me I'd get a photo of Elvis eating his banana, but he says no.

So this is Salty having a picnic digging into the new batch of chop which has a
generous dollop of red beets ( lest anyone think he had been hunting for
red meat).

I'm glad you cleared up the red beets thing! I thought you were just late with the evening's training session. That beak was looking disturbingly... sanguine. Lol!
