This is Mr. Sunshine.
robynnlynne-albums-mr-sunshine-picture21543-mr-sunshine.jpg

He is somewhere between 15 and 20 years old.
I've had him for 4 1/2 weeks and am a first time parront.
Mr. Sunshine's favorite time of the day is when he can come out of his cage. He happily perches on his cage door and talks to me as I do my chores.

This fellow has had a rough start to his life, but is amazingly sweet and easy to please.

I am not sure how often, if ever he has been allowed the freedom to be outside his cage. I look forward to the day when he will enjoy his playstation, play stands, and hopefully enjoy a human to sit on.
I adore him!

Mr. Sunshine is very handsome! Thank you and Taffee for giving this incredible guy an opportunity to be treated with the respect and love he deserves. I’m sure he is going to welcome his newfound freedom.

Here is my girl Baxter. She turned 17 years young in March, just about 2 weeks before she came home with me. I never dreamed I would have 2 fids at once, but she was pretty persuasive. She's been here for all of 4 months now, and it feels like she's been part of our family forever.

Her favorite part of the day is nap time snuggles, flopped down on my shoulder, or up against my ear.

1st pic official entry, 2nd pic, blurry one just for fun.

My Entry:

Photos of my "Buddy". He is an 18 month old Pineapple that I have had 15 months.
I have built him a couple of playgrounds and his main one is on and connected to his main cage. There are many toys, bungees, etc. But his favorite activity is playing with the hook that is in the ceiling that holds his net.

Baxter’s success story is extraordinary! I’m so happy for her and her forever family! These photos are proof she’s blissfully happy with you. It’s obvious Baxter is finally home. Sometimes the things we’ve never dreamed of turn out to be dreams come true.

Buddy is not only handsome but very fortunate. I don’t know but I think I’d call that an amusement park rather than a mere playground. Thank you for Buddy’s story and entry.

Excuse this picture (and my terrible attachment skills, really need to learn how to do this... :D), since Callum apparently screams with one eye open and the other closed.

Callum's favorite activity? Screeching. He's very vocal for being just a normal phenotype green cheek conure. If he isn't calling for me or just getting excited with me and making loud noises, he's often making small muttering noises. Saying his name or nickname are second only to him imitating my laugh.

Callum is a 2.5 year old DNA-confirmed male GCC. He loves to follow me around the house, sit on my shoulder, and just generally be very close. I originally intended to upload a picture of him giving kisses or cuddling, but as soon as he sees my phone, he wants to bite it.

I took Callum home shortly after my dog had to be euthanized. I was in a very bad state of mine and needed to redirect my attention to something more productive and I craved the close companionship I just lost. Perhaps a bit foolishly, I decided on a bird. Originally, I was going to adopt an older GCC, but he found his forever home before I could go forward with the adoption. Then when I went looking for other GCCs in need of homes, I couldn't find any and went to a breeder a little while later.

Breeder greeted me with a single baby bird on a chilly December afternoon and I took him home. My grandma's favorite picture of him is when he's looking out the car window.

Fun fact about Callum! He was meant to be my baby. He began cuddling up to me on day one and upon looking at his little hatch certificate, I found out his hatchday was exactly a week before I had to euthanize my dog. And, originally, I was going to name him Trico after the big bird...cat...dog...thing in the game, The Last Guardian. I decided on Callum instead.

Not really a brief thing about Callum, but... close enough right? ;)

Wow what a spoiled little guy, I absolutely love seeing when parrots get spoiled as they need lots of toys to entertain them. I love it. :)

Thank you for sharing Callum’s story with us. Im sorry you had to say goodby to your dog but I’m glad Callum was waiting for you on that chilly December afternoon to help you heal. Thank you for Callum’s entry photo, he’s adorable.

That's a great story about Callum. Thank you. I would also love to see grandma's favorite pic of him looking out the car window jff????:)

Regarding Trico, he and I are stuck in a tree in a courtyard...I have a glitch that I can't get through...I may have to PM you to see if you can help this older gamer out eh?:D
