African Gray
I'm hate to say it, but I'm having to rehome an African Grey. He's (assuming Jango is a "he") about 20 years old and belonged to my son who has had to move across the country. Jango has been living with me for a while and we've been trying to become friends, but my dog is not a fan (not to mention bullies Jango relentlessly and teases him about being in his cage) so Jango no longer gets any time outside of his cage and doesn't seem very happy (and doesn't appear to like me either). If there's any interest in adopting Jango, I live in the DFW, TX area and would love to find someone who will give him a happy home.

An African Grey in good feather is a steal.

Make sure you well vet anyone you consider giving this bird to.
Ideally a forever home, without dogs.

Hi,
Please ask your avian vet if they know someone willing to adopt Jango. Avian shelters/foster homes are other options. African Grey's are highly intelligent and sensitive. Jango won't understand why he's leaving his home IMO, thus making sure he's going to a reputable organization is important.
Here's a link you may want to contact them to see what they advise for him: https://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/83597-birdlink-sanctuary-inc-burleson-texas.
A Helping Wing Parrot Rescue in NJ may be able to refer to someone in your area as well: 845.475.8249 (phone).

If those options don't work out, please let the forum know. (If we lived closer would be happy to consider adopting Jango :)).
