She Talks, sings, waves, does an "Eagle" impersonation no plucking of feather she... Now what scares me is I found this picture on google. The second one she sent me I cant not find but for some reason I cant save it.
What do you all think and what would be a safe way of payment so I would not get scammed?:white1:

Please DO NOT part with any Money!! This Ad has Scam written all over it with a capital S !!

AGREE ! If you find a pic on google it's a phony, to prove ask her for the number and name of a vet she goes to and sees .

For sure. A bird like that should be $1500 at least and without shipping! The shipping alone could be over $200.

Ok thanks everyone! Im deleting the messages!
Glad I asked

Massssssive scam. :( If it seems to good to be true, it usually is. Never get a bird unless you can see it in person/pick it up yourself, its safer! Hate all these scam people out there!! :(

yes a scam, see what happens when you tell her that you can pick up in Wisconsin the bird will be suddenly unavailable

SCAM!!! Their just trying to get a quick $250 out of you and of course any flight charges! Also, there is no way anyone would be ready to transport their African Grey after one email communication.

Have some fun with her , say I found your address I'm coming over to see the bird , I was in the state visiting and thought I wanted to see her . Don't know if you should do it but it would freak her out.

i think a scam. a bird that expesive in that good condition with toys and cage. already trained. for only 250$. SCAM!

LOL I would totally do this!

It is a SCAM. The wording in the emails is off as well.

Wouldn't that be fun ? Just send her a email saying

I found your address , I was in town, I'm coming over hope you don't mind.

Wouldn't that be entertaining !

I have done that before lol, they just stop replying! :(

absolutely a scam, one good way to tell is how perfect the bird is, it must be shipped, she's re homing the bird but refers you to someone who "bought" one from her, and shipping is cheap. These scammers are idiots, definitely worth messing with ;)

I'd say Scam too. She was good with the first email being such bad english and then the second being very good. She just made a mistake "Plays with the kids and other animal" Anyone with proper english like that email was suggesting up until that point would say "plays with the kids and our dog" or cat etc. That is when I assumed she is the same person as email 1.
I'm not meaning to be offensive to anyone with broken english, it was just a way to notice this scam. Sorry if i have offend anyone.
I too would tell her I can pick up the bird and pay on delivery. See what she says to that. :)

Yes, as others have stated its a scam.

I received the same exact email when I responded to a craigslist ad. I never made the 2nd contact and reported the ad as a scam to craigslist. I did reply to the original email telling them I'd reported it as a scam.

I didn't think of messing with them though. That would have been fun!

Seen the ad on Craigslist also. Email and got the exact same letter that the bird went to Florida. Also email the next email and got the same letter but the birds name was nemo and was 8 months old. I sent back an email and said I had an uncle that lived in Wisconsin and could he come and see the bird and pay for him. Got an email back saying she already contacted the shipping company about sending the bird as is awaiting payemnt.
