Parrots
My first bird was a parakeet named Buddy (passed away November 8, 2012). My newest friend is a parakeet named Chipper.
My mom just bought some arugula recently, and she thought it might be good to see if Chipper will eat some. I've been trying to get Chipper to eat healthier, and lately she is a lot more willing to try different food and she has been eating carrots, spinach, broccoli, and romane lettuce.

I've been doing a little searching online, and I haven't come across anything saying arugula was bad for birds. But I just wanted to be sure. What do you guys think? Would it be safe/healthy for Chipper to have some?

since I didn't know what it was I looked it up....it sounds fantastic for birds, although I would try and get organic as much as possible.
budgies also enjoy, kale, rapini, parsley, dandelion, char etc....
cooked brown rice, with corn, peas, carrots are one of their favourites.

thank you for asking!!
next time I'm at the health food store, I am going to buy it for my birds and see if they like it.

Why You Should Be Eating More Arugula

I've fed it to my birds, it was always my understanding that its safe. You're doing a good job feeding chipper a variety of produce. :)

I also wasnt sure what it was so i googled it, turns out its also known as rocket (which is what i would know it as). It is quite safe =D
