It's so cute. I think they're either in love or they're very good friends. They snuggle up to each other and seem to make weird calls to each other that they only make if they think I'm not around. It's very surreal. These two seem like peanut butter and jelly!

What's funny though is that they're two girls. If they're in love, that's adorable and wow I didn't expect that. If they're friends, that's still adorable as they come! It's so funny, the two have totally different personalities, too. One is a loud "beeper" (if you have these finches you know what I mean!) and she just goes and beeps all the time! And the other, well, she's a bit of a quieter beep beep at more selective intervals. I just love how opposites attract.

Anyways, I thought I'd just tell you that my two zebras totally adore each other and it's absolutely the sweetest thing. And no, not just a little lovebird can steal my heart! <3

We have two male lavenders that have built quite the fancy nest and snuggle together.

Here's a pic from when we thought they were male and female. We had just gotten them.

I love how finches snuggle up. It's adorable. I used to have a cage full of different mutation colors of Lady Gouldian finches (all males) and they'd sit in a line and cuddle with each other. It was just the cutest thing :) I don't think they always slept in the same order either. They we're all best friends, never an argument lol. Gouldians are such great colony birds.

Such a cute picture! It's funny, I'm surprised this has happened to other people too! I've heard of studies on it with zebra finches but I didn't realize it would be so common that I would encounter it personally.

Either way, I'm glad, those two cute birds make me smile every time I see them cuddle.
