Just kidding! I entirely agree! Animals are animals and that's one of the things I love about them. I actually really like snakes. I know lots of big men who are terrified of harmless Garter Snakes I havent handled them in years because I don't know anyone who has any, but I love the way they feel, and wouldn't hesitate to hold one unless it was venomous or a known biter because that would be askng for it, right?
A also love Snapping Turtles and had a baby one for about a year.

One of my younger memories of my grandfather. We emptied a hay and grain barn and were moving all feeding to another larger barn about a hundred yards away. He had recently had hip replacement surgery. I looked up and he is on crutches coming from the barn we "emptied" with 3 huge bull snakes all wrapped around him and he is on crutches. He didn't want them to suffer and they would help in the other barn. You can't imagine what I saw but it is burned into my mind and my respect for animals for all time

Most were mistaken feeding responses, a couple might have been annoyed that they were disturbed. It’s not very often and pretty much avoidable if you pay attention to their body language. I’ve deserved every bite as in most cases I was testing my limits.
