Well, it's kind of funny but it very well could be that she was just plain hungry and the almonds fill her up. With young birds I have seen over and over that constant calling relates to hunger. And she was only calling to you, her feeder.
Awesome you figured it out!
It may have been she wanted the routine of the Almond or was hungry and needed the protein. Glad you have your sweetie back!!
I'm so glad it was simple and not an actual screaming issue, screaming is probably one of the hardest fixes in the bird world besides plucking and facial attacking. Glad it ended up just being so simple.
Honestly I don't think she was too hungry lol, she just wanted her almonds, she is inloveeee with almonds! I knew she wanted something, it was that scream where she was like "hey you know what I want so give it to me!" But this time.. I had no idea what it was!
She's had more food then normal the last few days, I was putting stuff in her cage all day trying to figure out what it was that she wanted! So it wasn't that she was hungry, she just wanted that one thing lol
Funny bird!
Atleast she's back to normal now, no grumpiness at all now either we are officially best friends again! Haha
I'm glad you figured that one out, Brodie! No way, no how do you starve your pretty girl. She just wanted what she wanted...and sure let you know about it.
