So I constantly think about getting a second bird, but I realized an issue. For the past year my alexandrine has lived cage free. I mean, he has one, but I took the front of it off. He's very well house trained, and when I can't supervise him he stays in a bird safe room.
I'm not sure how I would introduce another bird to him. I could keep the new guy caged in the living room i guess, and let them both out when I can supervise. But it would be really impractical to keep them in separate rooms for a long time. Would an entire room be big enough to house two birds unsupervised, with separate plahstands/open cages?
