Welcome to the forum. It's a pretty great place and I think many of us can identify with the "mad parrot woman" situation.

Hi there, Julie! A very, very warm welcome to the forum! Pleased to meet you and your flock. I'm sure you'll find this to be a helpful, friendly community as I have.

As Antoinette stated, pictures are much appreciated here. When you get the time, please share some.

Thanks for the welcome guys, I've been trying to add to the gallery but there is a problem, I suspect it is a sizing problem which I don't know how to solve, guess I'll figure it eventually

You can send Auggie's Dad (the admin) a PM about it. He may be able to help you.

Thanks, Antoinette is helping atm but with me being blonde and mad as well...let's just say it aint easy lol

MPW,

What format is the picture you are trying to upload. Antoinette said it wasn't jpeg so she tried to rename it, but that wouldn't do it - it needs to be converted, or saved as a jpeg (.jpg) from a graphics program.

Additionally there are certain size constraints, which I don't know off hand but I believe they are listed on the gallery upload page. There are both constraints on the image size and the file size.

Welcome! I think I can identify myself as a "mad parrot" person as well! LOL Don't be afraid to ask any questions if needed! I would love to see pics of you birds. I have a question, how is it like living with a Hahn's Macaw? I'm trying to decide in whether maybe getting a hahn's or severe mini macaw. :) As for the pictures, I didn't know how to post when I first joined, but I did figure it out! Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, what a friendly lot you are!

As for the macaw question, I believe a severe is also one of the smaller macaws and I think all macaws have similar personalities, the small ones think big, they are as bold as their larger cousins. Hahns are little cute balls of green fluff but don't be fooled they can and do stand up for themselves and can be nippy. Argyle's small beak is far more deadly than my grey's bigger beak and he is the "boss" out of the two even though he his half the size lol. My hahns is a re-home but I think if you got yourself a baby he would be more cuddly-tame. They have the sweetest voices, when Argyle hears my son's key in the door he greets him with a "hello sweety" lol. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Hi Julie, welcome, Im new here myself, but in the short time I've been here I've been made to feel very at home,I'm sure you will too, GREAT folks here!... :)

Bob.
