Hi-
I am the proud owner(parent) of two conure parrots. The 1st one I bought was Tutti a sweet socialized green cheek , the 2nd one I bought (because Tutti was so upset when we went to work) was Petie a beautiful pineapple cheek who isn't quite so socialized. They both bring me so much happiness, I can come home from a stressful day at work and spending 5 minutes with them I forget all my stress. They didn't care much for each other but after about 2 weeks they are now the best of friends and "scream" when one can't see the other. They dance and "talk" constanty and aside from a few biting issues with Petie have been a great addition to my family. Any hints on how to curb the biting would be GREATLY appreciated as Petie has opened bloody cuts up both my fiancé's and my lips- this happens anytime our faces are near her. I look forward to reading al the great info on the forum.
