Here's Chili's birthday "cake"- strawberry birdie bread, topped with berry yogurt, strawberry slices, and a carrot as her "1" candle lol




She's more interested in playing than eating her cake right now

Other than the first few licks of yogurt, she hasn't touched it waaaaaa!!!!!!

I am however making spaghetti for dinner- spaghetti noodles are her FAVORITE!!

lol...well, maybe she is just saving it for later It's so funny that the more work we put into things for them, the less they are interested in it

I'm hoping she'll have eaten some of it by the time the kid and I are done with our walk

Success! What all did you put in that birdie bread? It looks so good and strawberries are Talli's favorite thing in the whole world

•1 box Jiffy corn bread mix
•2 eggs
•1/3 cup milk (I used rice milk)
•1/2 cup finely ground pellets
•rounded 1/4 cup strawberry bits
And I used a little bit of food dye gel to turn the bread pink

Sounds good! I can just use some cornmeal since we can't get Jiffy mix here - one of the things I miss most from home
