Good reads

I recently read Confessions by Kanae Minato and now I need EVERYONE in the world to read it so we can discuss. It was a wild ride from start to finish.

If you are intrigued by U.F.O.'s like I am :D Try "The Gulf Breeze Sightings" by Ed and Frances Walters. A TRUE account of UFO sightings (with pictures) from numerous observers, and important people...Jimmy Carter just to name one!

It's not in my library system or available in the Kindle store......will keep my eyes out for it though!!

Been reading the Sopranos Sessions. Retrospective of every HBO Sopranos episodes with insights and anecdotes. Decadent reading for the diehard fan!

I was considering reading the Outlander series. But, I prefer reading first than watching. As the book is always better. Once hollywood is in your head, it's difficult to visualize anything else.

Ooooh that sounds interesting! I never watched the last season, but I really loved it. That’s why I didn’t watch the last season actually. That way it never ended.

Just began reading "The Only Plane in the Sky; An Oral History of 9/11. Newly released, fast paced and insightful. Begins with narrative of the only American not on Earth that fateful day. (Astronaut on the ISS)

I am very interested in reading this, thank you Scott. :smile049:

Very well sourced, fast paced, and engrossing! Be forewarned, some sections are tear-jerkers. Many of the aviation anecdotes are cathartic, suggesting I've not fully processed the horrors of /11.

I believe it. To this day, I can talk about it without crying.

I'm rather adept with compartmentalizing, but the rich personal details pierce my armor. :(

Did someone say SciFy/fantasy. I read constantly, actually I breathe, drink and eat this genre. Actually I mostly listen to it on audible. In no important order:

- Patrick Rothfuss “The King Killer Chronicles”
- Earnest Cline “The Armada”
- RR Haywood “The World Ship Humility”
- Brandon Sanderson. Anything and everything he has written. Sanderson and Rothfuss are tied for all time favorite authors.
- Terry Goodkind: Anything and everything
