Umbrella Cockatoo- 15? years old..I think?
OKAY...so maybe "FUNNY" is an over-statement...It's more amusing/quirky than funny.

This afternoon, I was walking past my record player with Noodles (she loves it) so she started to lean/steer me over there by craning her neck---I am like her Uber after all...
Anyway, I leaned closer to the player, but this time, that wasn't what she was interested in. Then I realized what she was trying to get a better look at...A row of swans. FYI- these have been in my house in that same spot for over 2 years LOL!

Sadly, I didn't get a picture of her with her crest up/getting a closer look. It was so silly. I have no idea why they finally caught her eye, but she was fascinated.

The faint motion blur captures her essence LOL!

and a bonus picture of her being mopey/depressed/dejected shortly thereafter as a result of the rope-perch buzz-kill haha (she always looks deflated once she sits on it!)- I really wish she liked it more...but hey, she climbs on willingly these days, so that is better than she used to be at least. She looks so pathetic and irritated!

Haha that’s so cute and funny, it’s funny what catches their eye and they seem to hate strange objects with a passion! Silly birds!

That’s hilarious she hates her rope toy, but frustrating for you. You buy her something fun and she’s ungrateful haha. She looks so unimpressed:D
When Sunny was temporarily caged when he was a baby I bought him some rope toys that he too was totally disgusted by, it was like I’d given him a pet snake!

That picture reminds me of my English Bulldog, something about the English Bulldog that's funny. Things in my house are stationary, and he's good with that. If I happen to move something out of it's normal place, he will stand all the hair on his back up on end and bark at the issue until I address the reason for the barking. Oh and it can be there forever, and he's also good with that, but if it's something that's been there forever, but he's just noticed, that draws a lot of attention as well. One day I put something in the fridge in a hurry, and walked off, he noticed the door was ajar, He went bananas over the door being ajar, until I reset the item in the fridge and the door closed all the way. I don't know if he's OCD, or if he's naturally suspicious or exactly what it is, but he doesn't like furniture moved, coffee tables moved, or anything out of place, and if anything gets out of place, he's definitely going to stare and bark, or raise his hair and bark, or just notify me until I come kneel next to him, and we talk about it. After that, it's okay unless I place it where it was originally, then it's the same OCD message all over again. I've never had another fur baby quite like this English bulldog in the respect of moving something. Oh and Zoey's cage, oh thats another long discussion...... He's definitely OCD!!

I LOVE ENGLISH BULLDOGS. I am sure Zoey's cage rocked his little OCD world--- "WHAT IS THIS MONSTROUS AND TERRIFYING INVADER AND HOW CAN WE RETURN IT FROM WHENCE IT CAME?!"

His exact thoughts! He sat next to me as I assembled it, he sniffed every inch of it, after I secured it in the corner his OCD kicked in and hasn’t stopped yet. In the mornings, he wakes up, approaches the monstrosity, alerts me, over and over throughout the day. The tree perch is absolutely the worst though. It must be evil, and it must be surrounded by evil lol. The a/c air vent goes into action, and the slightest movement of one of Zoey’s toys sends him hiding behind the sectional alerting me of its clear and present danger! You absolutely have nailed the situation room here Noodles lol dead ringer....

My Cooper male U2 love those rope toys as he go on it all the time, issue is my female U2 baby love to destroy them and even when he on it she pull it on her perch to get a better grip and start to unravel it. He gets upset at her of course and yell at her. It is his favorite rope perch, I have to keep a few around as she go through them every month, or so. I hung one now out in living area, so she doesn't touch that one, just the one in the cage.

The tree stand it took my female U2 Baby a week before she would tolerate it without flying away from the sight of it, even when I placed cooper on it hoping she fly to it seeing him on it. Now she on it all the time. I remember when I was putting it together she would sit far away on the edge of the couch and would argue with me as she was not happy about it.
