I tried to get one this morning of Pete. He had a big chunk of wood in his beak, and was trying to do somersaults around a perch at the same time. But, he dropped the wood and then decided to take a nap.

I need to get one of Merlin when she is hanging upside down by one toe and twirling. She does it in the evenings. Rowdy has now decided the camera is her mortal enemy and will not allow me to take pictures of her antics.

I love the amazon with the watermelon!

You could probably condition them to love the camera. I do this with puppies in my classes. If you've ever used marker/clicker training, just mark the moment they show interest in the camera and reward it. Eventually clicking the shutter and rewarding them, etc. etc. So that it isn't an enemy, but something that delivers treats periodically. haha Animals are so funny.
