I meant to make these yesterday afternoon, but got caught up buying a car. So, I was up at 3am baking cupcakes for my hubby to take into his work for everyone today:) Probably would've looked a *bit* better had I not been so freakin tired, but they came out cute enough (I hope):52:

Perhaps I will get some pictures of my Easter "chick" when he so chooses to wake today (it's only 7:30 here).

Those are absolutely adorable! You must be exhausted:(

Did you buy the car? If so , congrats!!!

They are beyond cute!! You would be creative and successful at it even if you been sleep baking!

New car, congrats, always fun to have something new to drive... Brand new or new to you, still fun and exciting after the pain of the actual buying process! ! So what did or are you getting?

They look absolutely beautiful, you have a fantastic imagination.
Bet they all enjoyed it at your hubby's work.
Glad you got a car, be safe

Thanks everyone:) I figure for middle of the night baking, they came out pretty good;)

And I did buy a car yesterday, but it's for my husband. After SEVEN YEARS:eek: of me being the sole driver (he had a bunch of points on his license so he stopped driving so we could save the money it cost to insure him), he is finally going to have a car again:D:D:D He works too much to go out looking, and I wanted to hit the Easter sales everyone had going on. Naturally the dealerships nearby were all expensive cars and rather rude, so I had to go about 45 minutes away to find the used car dealers who actually had inexpensive cars and were willing to negotiate for cash. Then I had to wait 2 1/2 hours at the dealership for Joe to get a break at work to give the ok, so I didn't get home till after 7 (I left at like 10am):52:. I must say, that's some trust there for him to ok me to buy HIM a car on a cell phoe pic and my word:09: But I'm the one who loves cars and can work on them. I have put quite a bit of work into my own (01 Mustang), but he'll drive anything with 4 wheels lol.

The "new" car isn't anything *super* special, just a little 98 Civic, but it's clean, runs well and when I looked it over, the engine looks mostly rebuilt, just looks to need a timing belt replaced and new tires/headlight casings. Should be a good commuter car for quite a while and we could buy outright so no payments or anything. 30 days to exchange it too if he doesn't like it or missed a major problem. I have to take the bus down there tomorrow to pay and pick it up. I'll post some pics later this week when I go through and detail it:)
