Combine this with Lovejoy, who has recently discovered the drums, and I've got a whole percussion section on my hands!!

That's pretty much her average volume. She does get louder when she's really worked up or upset about something, but it's never ear-splittingly loud. Seems she's noisiest if/when I have to cage her while I go get some housework done, then the whole street knows about it!!

Is love joy quiet too? They do have lovely calls in comparison to other parrots. All 4 of mine could wake the dead.

Lovejoy is an amazing mimic! He doesn't have nearly the volume, but a lot of the time I can't tell if it's him vocalizing or one of the others unless I'm looking straight at them. He has a range of calls of his own too, and he mutters a lot of words kind of under his breath but it's REALLY hard to capture any of it on video cos he usually clams up as soon as I point a camera in his direction! Oh and his latest trick is he makes the HUGEST kissy smoochy noises!!

That's hilarious that he's making smoochie noises! Vortex has started mimicking the microwave beep, probably because I use it alllll the time.

Late in! Played Peachie's calls and Julio flow in to me from his Sun drenched cage to watch and listen to her! Not sure what she was saying, but my boy was really interested in her vocalizations! Normally, his morning Sunshine time, is a pre-scheduled event that he has little interest in leaving.
