Thank you, April. Both the Amazons and Niko finished their molt not that long ago, and Ripley started when the others were nearly done. Lightly at first, but right now he truly does look 'raggedy' in some spots. LOL

Both big macs just had a thorough bath in the tub. Since it's an exceptionally yucky day out, I decided to dry them off a tad bit before taking them back downstairs.

This is the first time Ripley's let me do this

And Wendy, where, oh where. did you get that shower perch?!? It looks so well reinforced with the T design! (Or maybe more of an F design, if you count the perch. Lol!) I was showering Maya on the one that I bought a few weeks ago. Stupid thing popped off the wall while she was in mid wing spread and plummeted to the floor. And a piece of it broke on impact, too! Not cool!

Fortunately, Maya climbed onto my hand, less shaken than I by the incident, and continued her shower on my hand... drenching my shirt in the process. Lol!

I found heavy duty suction cups at our local "Michael's Hobby Store". It's a snap to make, and it's held up beautiful so far.

I'm glad Maya didn't get hurt when her perch plummeted down!!! What a sweetheart she is. I guess she decided it wouldn't hurt to get Papa a little wet, hey?
