Did someone ask for more Kyleigh?

Thank you so much for sharing your baby pictures! I've never had a baby parrot and to be able to see the step-by-step changes in your baby's development is totally awesome! You have a darling bird, super cute!!

Saw her again today...I hope the breeder isn't getting tired of me lol..We've still got a long way to go.

She is 6 weeks today.

Adorable! I love how she snuggles up to you. She looks very comfortable with you so I anticipate lots of snuggles in the future. I have one snuggler and I love the time we spend together. Congrats on Kyleigh!

Awwww what a sweet little baby! Oh my goodness! :D And that picture of her cuddling you! So cute!

OMG what a cutie , I had to find your baby's pictures and see how your baby looks , super adorable I really thought that my bird was going to be that small but my baby is full of feathers I really wanted to see him like this !!! I will be following your journey with your beautiful baby B&G baby

She's feathering in quickly now, isn't she? So precious!! :) Say, Stephen, are her nails on her left foot colored red?? Did someone paint them with something, or is it the lighting?

I also think she'll outmolt the random yellow feathers on her back - eventually. :)

I love how rapid the development gets at this stage! You can literally see the changes from one day to the next!

And Kyleigh is looking good, Stephen! Bright and curious, as she should be.

Good eye, Wendy. How'd I miss the red nails at first? Kinda doubt that's the lighting, though. Maybe done to distinguish her from other mac babies? (Hope it's a food-based dye in that case)

Unfortunately, the last breeder/feeder painter her nails. Another reason why I pulled her from him. He did it without my knowledge. The new feeder and I decided to see if it will come off within the next week, if not we are going to have to take it off.

It makes me mad just thinking about it.

I can imagine! But if it's a paint, I doubt it's coming off... short of help from Kyleigh's beak, unfortunately.

Yeah. I'd be rather vexed, myself.

It's finger nail polish I should say. And a cheap kind at that. So, I am hoping to will come off. If not, I can pick at it and it begins to chip off.

Holy smoking bandit! Fingernail polish? :11: Yes, chipping it off bit by bit is a great idea. It WILL come off that way, guaranteed. Just never use nail polish remover, ok? ;)

Lol, I promise I won't. She likes being rubbed on her feet. It puts her to sleep lol. So I think I will be able to do it fairly easy....except I dont have any nails to scratch with. Maybe a file?

Ask your wife for a spare emery board. That should work well, and it's fairly gentle on the nails. :)
