Cloud is sick :(

This was one heck of a week for everyone, but we're all happy she pulled through!!!

Cloud was SOO excited to see her flock, and lemon was like what?! you're back!!!!??? OMG!! Lol.

They will have to stay in the tiny cage until she's finished her 5 days of meds, and so Quigley and Snow seem confused about the new living arrangements lol

Thank you so much everyone for your support through this- it was a tough one, and I'm sure that had I not taken her to the vet, she wouldn't be here today

Yay yay yaaayyyy! I am soooo glad she came home and is doing great! Yay! I'm happy for you and Cloud! Oh and of cores her boyfriend Lemon! He must be thrilled!

I'm so thrilled to hear this, Shirre! I was really worried until I read Cloud was flying around the incubator. Sorry it cost your arm and leg, but Cloud is home, happy and healthy. Love, love, love, the photos of the happy couple.

Watching her since she's been home, she's a completely different bird- happy, chirping, squawking, running around...it's like night and day, that's how much better she feels.

Last night I gave her the meds (my first time administering meds to a bird via syringe lol) and that was pretty interesting This morning went MUCH smoother! She hung out on my hand, picked at my fingernails, and then when it came time for her meds I wrapped her in a towel -thankfully not much squirming this time....now she's happily eating breakfast.

She's definitely feeling better and better- back to budgie mischief!! Haha

Shirre, I am sooooo sorry that I missed this thread until now! I can't believe all this was going on and I didn't even know! So sorry I wasn't there for you, my friend, but I'm thrilled that all has turned out so well.

Just now read through the entire thread. It was like a rollercoaster ride! But Cloud was a little toughie through the whole ordeal. And all of those pics were beautiful. Especially the one with her and Lemon! I'll keep her in my prayers for the follow up test, but it seems like all is now well in la casa Wozzy.

Please give her and Lemon both a few scritches for me?

I think everyone was on a roller-coaster ride with Cloud! Lol poor little girl- it's crazy how they can get so sick, and it's no lie that they really do hide it well everyone here is happy she's back to herself- all is well in budgie land!

There just IS something about them isn't there? I agree

It's not something you can explain unless you've ever fallen in love with a budgie. they're just extra cute and funny in their own way.
