Christmas lights on the house....

that is a lovely photo!!!

I lived in a condo for years so i had NOTHING outside, only a smallish tree inside. Now i'm gradually trying to accumulate outside lights and decorations (they are expensive to buy all at once). Each year i add maybe $50 worth of 'stuff' to the collection. I have a Dutch colonial with that "barn- style" gambrel roofline and in my DREAMS i would have lights all along the roof some year (not that i want to climb up there and to them though!)
I love when people have their house all lit up for the holidays. It is just SO DARK and depressing that the lights really make the season sparkle!!

Wow Crimson! Your house is beautiful! With or without the lights!

We haven't done lights on the house in a few years, but this was as close as I got last year lol

A wreath I made...

And a picture from our Christmas card (our son)

I agree! Great photos. He looks adorable in the Santa hat and it's a great scene posing with the lights. Even though you didn't enter him, you took great pics of him that you will always have. His future kids will look at them and laugh!

This is our tree from last year. I am still to finish the decorations on the tree this year. A few christmas parties have gotten in the way....

So...the tree is up, and hubby is working on the outsight lights.

This is our tree this year....

This was the very first ornament to go on....

And right after I finished, Mike called from Cali and told me to check my email. Looks like we did our trees at the exact same time, some 3,000 miles apart. :)

WOW!!!! your tree is gorgeous....and TALL, how tall is that anyways???

very neat that your son(whom I know you miss terribly) has decorated his tree on the same day....still connected even though the distance is too great..

thanks for posting it Wendy

Thank you, Beth. :)

It's not all that tall. It must look tall because I was on the floor when taking the picture. It's an 8' tree. :)

Love that first ornament! 1988 is also the year my sister's first baby was born. :)

I have a small 4 foot tree up and a few things sitting around , that's about it for this year , so far I have had to put my Christmas santa and snowman up , Shamrock decided those were his toys lol , I will get some pics in a few days and post them

Love all of them Wendy
Looks absolutely awesome

Lovely big tree OMG

Look at you guys go! I'm the least christmasy person here... I rent so NO outside decorations (my electrical is included in the rent so covering the house with lights would not go well :p). And I also have no decorations inside. But I go to my parents for Christmas still. But Pixel is green and orange... and orange is kind of red... so... that counts, right?

Hahahaha hey, we own our house and we haven't put up any decorations or a tree

This is actually the first time in 18 years we haven't put up a tree at least :20:

Apparently we are putting up a tree. I came home to this. It's bird themed. The lights in the window are hummingbirds.
