Hi guys and happy holidays wanted to update you guys on our zoo. Working on getting our puppy Akita next. Once she's here well just be missing a girl Scarlet.
Thx and yes Mac the Harlequin gets on me. Lola May never be that into being petted but I can feed her by hand with no problem. Sunny has turned out to be quite the charmer. Need to trim his nails though:-/
Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
The Scarlett beakiness issues are very real, but hopefully the hybrid stuff, plus the way you interact with your other birds, will teach this bird how to behave.

You obviously know how to raise them properly. I think the outside the cage time, and handling is the critical factor with the beakier species... It's all about how you raise them...
Thx guys. I got the perches from Simbads bird house. I'm getting one on Wednesday from EBay that is massive and a new one from simbads. I also got Mac n Lola a new cage. I had a question I was hoping you guys can help me figure out. I wanted to turn their green cage into an outdoor aviary but would parakeets fit through the bars? I don't think so. Any recommendations?
